Assisted Living Waiver (ALW)

We are proud to be an approved provider for California’s Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program, allowing us to offer high-quality, community-based care for individuals who qualify for Medi-Cal and meet nursing facility-level care needs.

What This Means for You:

Through the ALW program, eligible Members can receive supportive services in a residential setting—rather than an institutional one—at little to no cost. We work closely with care coordinators and case managers to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing support.

Our ALW Services Include:

Oversight and supervision
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Medication management
Meals, laundry, and housekeeping
Health-related transportation coordination
Ongoing communication with primary care providers

My family and I remain sincerely grateful to the staff and administration at Golden Way Care for the thoughtful and expert care that they provided to my husband during final years. The staff were excellent at dealing with his health issues with skill and kindness and the facility was well-managed and always clean. The staff made an exceptional effort to make his last days as comfortable as possible. Our family remains especially grateful to the facility’s management in that his support and guidance in this confusing and difficult time went beyond our expectations.

My mother, who had advanced dementia and was on hospice, spent her final months in the care of Daniel Rescia at the Golden Tuscany Care. From the moment she arrived, I knew she was in loving and capable hands. The well-appointed home is clean, warm, peaceful and truly feels like a family environment. I visited my mother often and routinely during her stay, who was treated with dignity, patience, and kindness every single day. I was kept informed and supported throughout the process, and always felt welcome to visit and participate in her care. Knowing my mother's final chapter was surrounded by genuine compassion and respect brings me deep comfort. I will always be grateful to Daniel and his team for giving her not just care, but humanity and peace. Highly recommend this home for any family seeking loving, professional end-of-life care.

After experiencing other assisted living and memory care facilities, I am so grateful to have found Golden Tuscany where my father spent the last four years of his life. They provided him with a warm and welcoming home. Whenever I came to visit I was greeted with smiling faces. My dad was always clean, well fed and well dressed. I was promptly informed whenever there was a change in his condition. As special needs arose, they were able to coordinate services in the home. Coming from a RN perspective this place is very organized and efficient in care. The environment is absolutely charming. It is set up beautifully and the greenery make it serene. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Daniel is great to collborate with, is knowledgeable and welcoming! This place has amazing energy with cutest pup too!

Golden Tuscany Care immediately gave me total peace of mind. My husband adjusted quickly to the heart warming atmosphere and he experienced a trust that eased the anxiety of living away from home. I visited this location to give a presentation on seated chair exercises for the residents. The house is very clean and the all the staff were friendly and fun. The residents there seemed to enjoy their housing and their staff members.

Golden Tuscany was a home for my mother in-law for about a year. She was at the final stages of dementia. She passed away in March 2017...This was not the first care facility she was at, and every time we chose very carefully. The truth is - there are many things you will not know until your loved one already lives there and you are in for a long haul.This home was by far the very best. It was just that - A HOME, not a "facility." Clean, well organized, but most importantly, with the staff who's heart is into helping people in their last stages, and make this experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. You cannot buy caring that comes from the heart.And another reason - the head of the Golden Tuscany, Daniel. He knew every stage of decline, he knew how to handle it, what matters and what is not. Knowledgeable, caring and supporting all the way through till the very last moments. Amazing guy!Thank you Daniel and everyone at Golden Tuscany, we could not ask for a better place for our mom! You will be always a part of our memories, thank you form the bottom of our hearts!
